GEOMESH, an engineering tool for geometry analysis, repair and rebuilding of incoherent CAD data, and automatic surface and volume meshing.
Fully integrated within the PAM-SYSTEM product family, GEOMESH is a set of modules which is used for automatic meshing. In addition to meshing geometries, GEOMESH can also perform :
* Geometry analysis, repair and rebuilding, automatic meshing
* Surface geometry clean-up
1) First, GEOMESH reads the geometry (surface or solid) from most CAD file formats (IGES, STEP, DXF, VDA, CATIA, ACIS, STL, PARASOLID. VDA...)
2) Then, if necessary, GEOMESH can either clean, repair or rebuilt the geometry:
Self Intersection, Disjoint Faces, Duplicate Faces, Small Faces, Shared Vertices, Shared Edges are automatically spot and cleaned. Geomesh wide range of operations can be performed such as Solid modeling, Bolean operators, Surface modeling and Model Healing . Files must be saved in standard CAD file format.
3) Eventually, the Geomesh " push button" solution provides a fully meshed part in a short period of time: Either Quads or triangle Meshes can be defined and the output can be saved in the following formats (PAM PC/PS, ProCAST, SYSTUS ASCII, MSC NASTRAN)
